What it does
Connect an MCP client to Odoo and decide which users, companies, records and fields it can access. Review sensitive changes and trace tool activity in the audit trail.

Requirements and limits
- Odoo and hosting
- Odoo 19 on a server that supports custom Python addons. Runtime-tested on Community and in the local Enterprise lab.
- Python dependencies
- jsonschema, xlsxwriter, authlib and PyPDF2. Redis is optional for schema caching.
- Client and network
- An MCP-compatible client and a reachable HTTPS endpoint are needed for remote access. AI provider accounts, keys and usage charges are separate.
- What leaves Odoo
- Selected prompts, permitted record context and explicitly supplied files are sent to the configured AI provider only when an AI action is run.
- Not yet verified
- Hosted Claude and ChatGPT account connection flows, and live paid AI-provider calls, have not been verified end to end.
